Hiya, We’d like to integrate FullStory into our Chrome Extension, but we don’t want to capture *all* of the sites that users visit. How do we restrict the scope of what’s captured to only interactions with our extension?

I need to be able to to display WAU/MAU, and I know FS automatically visualizes this in the Segments view, but how would I pull this into a dashboard?
I have a dimensionality card that is listing all the keywords customers searched that returned a no-results page...since I can only see 5 at that time (maybe give me the option to see all ;) I wonder how can I export that data to an excel file so I can classify, filter, etc. The card is using a custom event, but the ‘Group by’ is using ‘URL Query - where the parameter is q’ I was thinking to create a segment with those metrics since I can see you can export data from a segment, but I don’t see how I could replicate my metrics in a segment 🤔
I have a NEXT.JS url page with URL as such “…/search/[some_id]”, how can I mask/exclude capturing the [some_id] part of the URL?
On the hunt for potential user frustration in FullStory? Great! You probably jump into some of the frustration signals that are out of the box in FullStory like Dead Clicks and Rage Clicks to laser in on these Sessions. And you might be tempted to build a Segment with something like the following:However, what you’ve build above is users who are experiencing Dead Clicks AND Rage Clicks AND Error Clicks in a session. Yikes! Although these would be super interesting and likely super frustrating sessions, you may have a very tight scope of sessions that appear in this Segment. The Filters in FullStory are in a way dependent events wherein users have to experience everything within the Segment, Funnel, or Metric in order to be included in the list. What is much more likely is users experiencing some frustration but maybe not all 3 of 3 of those filter criteria. Therefore, you might want to use [OR] logic to build out independent events, which will increase your scope and help you throw a
Hey Community! 🤗In 1 week, we’ll be hosting our last workshop of the How to Build Dashboards series, and it’s going to be all about Engineers! Alongside myself, and our awesome host @Hannah, we will have our very own @timchin joining us as our special guest host who is a Senior Manager, Engineering at FullStory. He’ll be sharing how he uses FullStory dashboards to make his life easier as an engineer through a few common scenarios as well as his favourite tips + tricks. Register for this workshop here!Looking forward to seeing you all in a week! 😊
With features like Private by Default and Form Privacy, FullStory helps you prevent the capture of sensitive or Personally Identifiable Information (PII). But, what happens in the event you do capture something that puts you or your end users at risk? Our newest feature, Detections, helps protect you in exactly this scenario! With Detections, you’ll immediately identify when, where, and what type of sensitive PII may have been captured and take swift action to remediate the issue.Note: Detections is now available to a subset of customers and will be available to all customers later this year. If you’d like to get started with Detections, sign up here to join the next release. How it worksFullStory monitors your data and looks for patterns that indicate PII may have been captured. When we identify data that may be a credit card number or password, we flag it immediately with a Detection Event. Then, FullStory Admins can review the event, confirm that sensitive data was captured (or mark
I have a scenario that prompted me to try to discover the probability of certain event happening more often than other in order to determine if we should fix it! I can provide more details but I wonder if this is something FS has thought about...some sort of predictable statistics “cards” that can help me enter two events and figure it out what’s the probability of event ‘x’ occurring more often than event ‘y’.
Hey Community! 🙋🏼A lot of our users rely on Microsoft Teams as their primary internal communication hub, and with that, we want you to be able to share FullStory insights with others in your organization in the most efficient way possible. That’s why we’ve created the Microsoft Teams integration! This integration will allow you to easily share insights about FullStory sessions to a specified Teams channel through a session link. 😅 To enable and set up the integration for all FullStory users to access, an admin or architect will need to do the following:Log in to FullStory. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Manage. Click the Install button next to Microsoft Teams. After it’s installed, each user can manage their own integration by doing the following:Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Manage. Click the Install button next to Microsoft Teams. A box on the right side will prompt you to authorize Microsoft Teams. Click Authorize and enter your Microsoft Teams workspace
Hi there,I want to count the number of users in a segment clicking the back button on their browser? Is that possible?
Hi Dear Community, did anyone try to mask an image or a specific area of the screen?thanks!Gil
Fullstory doesn’t build on android it fails with the below error: ``` TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'FullStory.LogLevel = LogLevel') ERROR Invariant Violation: "main" has not been registered. This can happen if:* Metro (the local dev server) is run from the wrong folder. Check if Metro is running, stop it and restart it in the current project.* A module failed to load due to an error and `AppRegistry.registerComponent` wasn't called.```has anyone experienced this? If so how did you solve it. Also I see this If you want to use the Metro Server for local development, we recommend disabling FullStory for these builds. How do i disable the plugin in metro?I tried this as a hack but not sure its the best way to handle this because android users are always anonymous. I created 2 files :--- index.ts```import FullStory from '@fullstory/react-native';export function fullStoryIndentify(user) { FullStory.indentify(user.oid, {displayName: user.name, email: user.email})}``` --- i
One of the features of the app I’m working on allows users to send/share a link to a non-user and have them complete a recommendation. Currently, the links are unique to the user that sent them. However, we need to be able to track the total number of completed recommendations and track the user flows, and not have FullStory track 1 user’s link. Is using the “matches” convention with ** the best way to accomplish this in order to track all sessions that get to a particular page?
I want monthly/weekly/daily cumulative data based on a specific event from a segment/session. For example, in a particular session from a segment, 5 user received “Some pop-up Error”. I want to see or send one email stating “Some pop-up error” occurred 5 times in this segment.or another example,10 users received 3 types of error during their sessions 1. ABC Error - thrice 2. MNO Error - Twice 3. XYZ Error - Once. What I want is to have a view/email or both to see the errors and their occurrences so that I can easy distinguished what type of errors are coming the most. What FS is giving us to achieve the above requirement? Can “Alert” be helpful here? Thanks,Mranal
I’d love to hear from the community if anyone has implemented a community of practice for DXI at your organization? How did you went about creating your CoP?What major challenges you experienced?Do you think you have more exposure of your work to other stakeholders and maybe added credibility to conducting this type of research?
