Good day, I tried the new Heatmap feature and love it. I am just wondering, why I have a total of 66k click, but my most clicked element just got 600 (1% of total) clicks. And I just got 25 items with a click-count. Where are the other 60k clicks? Where is my mistake?
One of the features we have on our mobile app has a clear start and end point. I’m wanting to track the length of time it takes to complete the full use of this feature. Is the best way to do this by creating a funnel with the start and end events? Or is there a metric that would capture this as a single number? The feature can be started in one session and ended in another.
Hi I am trying to give a unique UUID that I set in my Angular application, and I have the place where I go get the user data. Now I want to persist that UUID and other pieces of data in full story. Where am I supposed to put the code?FS.identify(uid); Is fullstory supposed to be an injectable service in my angular components or where should I put this in order to track these fields?
I have an area on the site where customers can add credit cards. After adding a credit card each card is added as an <option> in a <select> element like this:I know dropdown contents are not captured by FS since they technically don’t change the DOM...but since I would like to know the average number of cards added by customers, is there a way to “read” the size? as you can see on the image the number 4 shows the number of cards added to the field so I figured maybe that can be read, and I guess divided by the number of people clicking the “Add” button to get the average number? 🤔
Hi all.I am connecting Jira API and Fullstory API into my WEB-app. I want to to create Jira form and attach the (FS) session link in the description when creating. I cannot find in the Fullstory documentation if it’s even possible to get the session link outside FS (in my WEB-app).Can someone help me with that or redirect me somewhere where I can read about?Best regards
Hi Folks,On our platform, we have a number of calendar pickers, where users can choose dates, navigate between months etc. The issue we have is that, if a user navigates to say, June of next year from today, that can mean multiple repeated clicks. Fullstory sometimes interprets these as rage clicks though they’re actually not, they’re legitimate clicks.Wondering if there’s any way to exclude these from being counted as rage clicks?
I’m trying to find out the number of events difference between clicks and hitting the Enter key when customers interact with our Buy button.You can either use your mouse and click the buy button after entering a quantity, or enter a quantity and hit enter on your keyboard.Is there a way to find out?
In FS we can measure how far down the page users would scroll, but I was wondering if it is possible to measure when users scroll up/down multiple times? On recordings often times I see users scrolling the page down and up multiple times and I’d like to know how frequent that happens.
Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to prevent the header and footer of a page(s) to be measured by a heatmap so I can only measure the content of the page.We know our header and navigation links get the most clicks by far so often times many of the 25 elements the Heatmap can detect are in the header and footer, so I wonder if it is possible to ignore those elements and just measure the page content?
After the FullStory UI update I’m struggling a bit to create and edit dashboards. I’m hoping I’m missing a trick and someone can point me in the right direction. 😃What I want to do, and was able to do previously, is create a card on a dashboard and then select an existing metric to use on the card. This doesn’t seem to be possible as to use an existing metric I have to go to the metric itself and then edit the date range etc. and add it to the dashboard.Similarly I used to be able to duplicate an existing card on a dashboard and then change the individual card to pick a different metric or segment. Now when I duplicate a card it appears to also create a duplicate of the metric and I also can’t change the card to use a different, existing, metric.This also does make me wonder, if I update the segment, dimensions, or date range for a metric to add it to a dashboard, does this change the properties for other locations where the metric is used?
I currently don’t see a way to create a Journey based on IP address….maybe in the future? We have different types of customers and we are trying to understand the journey of someone conducting research for parts vs. someone that has a list of parts and knows what is looking for. They would have different behaviors and they would go to different parts of the site. Understanding their unique journey and identifying friction points would be very helpful to us.
I have a page that has a table and on each row we have a button. We have 25 row so each ID is different. Something like this:button#plusMoreImagesText_1button#plusMoreImagesText_2 …..etc.I was trying to capture click events on the button regardless of which one was clicked using the “starts with ID” format...like this:[id^=plusMoreImagesText_]which I have used it before, but for some reason this time is not working….and I wonder if that’s becase the element is a <button> and not a <a> tag.Is that right, or something is wrong with the format. I’ve also tried this just in case:[id^=”plusMoreImagesText_”]but also didn’t work.
