Hi!I read the article about watched elements, but my question is about CSS or text based watched elements. Does this css or watched element need to have been used in the creation of a watched element?I'm trying to create a funnel with 3 basic steps, the last one is based on the CSS of the watched element, but it doesn't seem to work. It should work? Best Celia
Do we have creating folders in dashboard module, currently everyone is creating dashboards and it’s becoming hard to find the which is finalized ones. Although we can use filter by Active, Recent, Starred but the stakeholders and randomly searching for the name and checking the once which are not in use/still under development. We have done some changes in the naming convention, but if we would have the folder structure then everything will be lot easier.
If I have a parent container (.container), with 4 boxes (.box) - how can I capture the engagements of each box element, without having to create a separate card/segment for each box?The box elements are not clickable and are just text with padding.I’m interested in capturing clicks made on the entire box, not just the text within each box if that makes sense.I see that if I track the parent container, I can break down clicks by text. I assume that doesn’t include clicks on the padding around the text as well?Hope this makes sense, and thank you!
Our team wants to deploy Fullstory to our app for user behavior monitoring. We are tring to use the traffic caputre for faster debugging workflow, but the payload that sends to /rec/bundles are binary. According to the knowledge base, they seem to be the compressed file. Is there any way/tool that we can leverage to decompress the payload?
I’ve been trying to delete API defined events that we no longer used, some were created by developers or employees no longer in the company. The closest I can get is to archive them, but archiving them still shows them as a search result Anyone know how to delete these events, or at the very least prevent them from showing up as an event ?
I have a client who hosts lots of events. For each event, they have a standard “Buy Tickets” button - these buttons all look the same, but have different destinations (not always pages on the site, sometimes they link out to ticket providers like ticketmaster, etc). I know I can create a metric to track people who clicked the text “Buy Tickets” but can I then group those by the destination URL for the button/text they’re clicking?
Howdy. I’m pretty new at FullStory, and we’ve got it deployed on an integration site (where internal devs/QA test and examine new, but not released functionality) and a production site (where our customers interact with our builder-app).What is the best way to provide a division of traffic in order to ensure that it is easy to create dashboard panels that only examine/collate data/analytics from our production site?Is it best to use segments or funnels? How do I integrate that into a dashboard element?
Seeing a lot of dead clicks on some sites, and noticing that most of the time, it’s someone clicking and dragging to scroll the page. Happens on both mobile and desktop, but obviously more prominent on mobile sites.Has anyone figured out a reliable method of identifying when this is happening, so it can be named/prevented from flagging as a dead click?
Hello, I’m looking to dynamically link to Fullstory session replays. I’m having a hard time understanding all the parameters in the URL. E.g.: https://app.fullstory.com/ui/RYFJ1/session/6679530505342976:(5266110538633216!5231891709808640(9087122381223882026(114326:119914):7090615364074524635(56277:60315):6686149123103872250(78004:86303):8179718857902043302(83996:87958):8095891796234652261(24281:30103):339817377907299333(25701):460996610961765399(15080):4839879681004376180(16097:24234):3061820048520633102(15854:19724):2666871292265889534(20631:24647):4286602104151011894(18594:22113):8663433253039758961(3419:7209)))Can anyone help me understand how I could dyanmicall populate this?
Hello! I’m looking to search for for something that is found within the Full Selector instead of the Optimized Selector. Is there a way to do this? Looking for [data-row-key="944d0ad7-c990-46da-90a2-7fe230b4711a"], which I find in the Full Selector using Inspect mode. But Fullstory doesn’t seem to let me search for it. Thanks,Raymond
I would like to track users signing in to different accounts within the same session.I have userVars containing the member ID and email which I would like to compare to the login text field when the user is on the login modal. Is it possible to compare a variable to dynamic site content? Alternatively is is possible to store dynamic content and compare it to data entered later. If there is another/better way to achieve the result I am open to any suggestions. Thanks
I’m trying to build a segments to capture part of a two-step login flow. New customers must complete both steps, returning customers need only complete step 1.I built a segment intended to isolate the returning customers. In the segment, I included events from step 1, but excluded events from step 2 which only new customers would generate.Watching the sessions, new customers are consistently being included in my segment, even though they generate events that I have excluded. Would be grateful for any suggestions as to what is going on.I did wonder - when I exclude multiple events - does FullStory exclude only sessions where all of the excluded events are triggered? Or does it exclude sessions where any one of the excluded events is triggered?TY
