One of the features of the app I’m working on allows users to send/share a link to a non-user and have them complete a recommendation. Currently, the links are unique to the user that sent them. However, we need to be able to track the total number of completed recommendations and track the user flows, and not have FullStory track 1 user’s link. Is using the “matches” convention with ** the best way to accomplish this in order to track all sessions that get to a particular page?
I want monthly/weekly/daily cumulative data based on a specific event from a segment/session. For example, in a particular session from a segment, 5 user received “Some pop-up Error”. I want to see or send one email stating “Some pop-up error” occurred 5 times in this segment.or another example,10 users received 3 types of error during their sessions 1. ABC Error - thrice 2. MNO Error - Twice 3. XYZ Error - Once. What I want is to have a view/email or both to see the errors and their occurrences so that I can easy distinguished what type of errors are coming the most. What FS is giving us to achieve the above requirement? Can “Alert” be helpful here? Thanks,Mranal
I’d love to hear from the community if anyone has implemented a community of practice for DXI at your organization? How did you went about creating your CoP?What major challenges you experienced?Do you think you have more exposure of your work to other stakeholders and maybe added credibility to conducting this type of research?
I am in Advanced plan of FullStory and as per the documentation here (https://help.fullstory.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020828653-Introduction-to-Alerts), I should be able see and configure the Alert in segments but I am still getting the “Upgrade Plan” pop-up when I click on Notification also can not see any Alert icon (bell icon) when creating/updating any segment.Snapshot:Can someone help why this is not being shown in Advanced plan.
Hi everyone, I would like to set up a feature that notifies me via email when a funnel or metric goes down. Do you know if Fullstory has it? It was a question/answer because I just found it. In case It might help you: https://help.fullstory.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020828653-Introduction-to-Alerts
I have a question about the definition of event in segment. In the Event Filters section,if I set A & B events and these events need to “in this order” and “cross the same session”. The total event is 2,000If I set only A event, the total event is 1,000 → What does the mean of event in here ? → What is the difference between sessions and events ?
I am trying to explore Webhook integration. As per the documentation, in events section (https://developer.fullstory.com/overview), we can see a lot of events but for my account only “Note-Created” is shown. What could be the possible reason of not having all the events in Webhook? See the below image:
I want to create a metric to see sessions by URL but we have unique user id’s in our URL. I am querying by wildcard where the ID is but the metric doesn’t sum by feature. the url structure is …/site/user id/product/feature. So what I want is to see a chart of sessions for feature like time view, benchmarking, etc. where time view sessions are all users
I looked at the article for why dat acpauture is blocked and it mentioned that in the response header there should be an error code, it doesnt seem to be there. Is there another reason that data capture for a URL would be blocked? We have full capture turned on in the network allowlist?
the company I work for does a loyalty rewards program. It’s like subscribing to products that you then get on a monthly basis. Our cart flow can slightly differ if you are participating in the program. but I’ve found that when setting up funnels to dig into a flow we have heard is causing concerns, I am seeing a lot of users that are not on the program.Does anyone know if it is possible to only include users who are part of a program?
hi;Our Clients are usually interested in benchmark papers, and how different industries are evaluating their DXI results, what kind of KPIs are “must-have”, or de-facto standards and what are the additional ones that FS is recommending as a best practice in measuring the digital experience index. thanks
Good day, I tried the new Heatmap feature and love it. I am just wondering, why I have a total of 66k click, but my most clicked element just got 600 (1% of total) clicks. And I just got 25 items with a click-count. Where are the other 60k clicks? Where is my mistake?
Hi I am trying to give a unique UUID that I set in my Angular application, and I have the place where I go get the user data. Now I want to persist that UUID and other pieces of data in full story. Where am I supposed to put the code?FS.identify(uid); Is fullstory supposed to be an injectable service in my angular components or where should I put this in order to track these fields?
I have an area on the site where customers can add credit cards. After adding a credit card each card is added as an <option> in a <select> element like this:I know dropdown contents are not captured by FS since they technically don’t change the DOM...but since I would like to know the average number of cards added by customers, is there a way to “read” the size? as you can see on the image the number 4 shows the number of cards added to the field so I figured maybe that can be read, and I guess divided by the number of people clicking the “Add” button to get the average number? 🤔
Hi all.I am connecting Jira API and Fullstory API into my WEB-app. I want to to create Jira form and attach the (FS) session link in the description when creating. I cannot find in the Fullstory documentation if it’s even possible to get the session link outside FS (in my WEB-app).Can someone help me with that or redirect me somewhere where I can read about?Best regards
Hi Folks,On our platform, we have a number of calendar pickers, where users can choose dates, navigate between months etc. The issue we have is that, if a user navigates to say, June of next year from today, that can mean multiple repeated clicks. Fullstory sometimes interprets these as rage clicks though they’re actually not, they’re legitimate clicks.Wondering if there’s any way to exclude these from being counted as rage clicks?
I’m trying to find out the number of events difference between clicks and hitting the Enter key when customers interact with our Buy button. You can either use your mouse and click the buy button after entering a quantity, or enter a quantity and hit enter on your keyboard. Is there a way to find out?
