Watched Element Problem

I’m creating a funnel where the final step is just a watched element (to confirm something was displayed on the screen) - but the watched element is not working. I have Visibility set for In Viewport:  https://app.fullstory.com/ui/13NHW8/funnels/details/xe4uC9GpNyDG/334964640?step=1&completed=true&completeSessions=false

Hi, many times, when this happens, I noticed that the watched element is actually not something that’s easy to be recognized by Fullstory or any software. To ensure the element on the screen is going to perform well, use the inspect mode in Page Insights and ensure that the object selector is uniquely identifiable. 

Hi there - Great tip from Lars’ about using inspect mode to ensure the selector is unique. Another note on Watched Elements is that they are not retroactive. If you setup the Watched Element at the same time you are building the funnel, it will take some time for users to make their way successfully through your funnel before they show up as having seen the element. Thanks all - it seems identifiable; I created a metric just using that watched element and it works, so it just seems to be broken when using in a funnel. I don’t really need a funnel for this, so it’s not a big deal, but I’d like to figure out why it doesnt work for the future.

You also want to include your watched element in a journey. This way, you can see user confusion in another way.

Hi team, I also face the same problem, I input the css selector (the ID of the element) and that's unique, but still the watched element doesn't work for both metric & funnel. Anyone can help?
