We have an API event that i would like to stop using/to stop passing info to Fullstory. Does archiving that event do that? or do we need to remove that api via code?

Archiving events should stop them from appearing in search filters going forward. But to note, if they are already in use in any existing content (segments, funnels, dashboards etc), the archived item will still be displayed there, to keep those analytics in-tact for you. If you'd prefer to fully delete these events entirely and not have them appear anywhere in FullStory, including in older analytics, I can forward your request to Support where our engineering team can delete any unwanted events for you.
