How is "Median Time To Convert" calculated?

Hi there!I’ve built a funnel and am using the “Median Time To Convert” to look at funnel completion time. However, the number being given is a lot lower than I expected, even when looking at completions between many sessions instead of just one. So I wanted to clarify how this metric is calculated: For each user, does it measure the time spent in the product between the two events, or time elapsed between the two events? For example:My funnel is between “Page Viewed” and “Order Completed. I trigger “Page Viewed” today at 4pm, then browse for an additional 10 minutes. I don’t use the product til the tomorrow when I browse for 20 minutes then trigger “Order Completed” at 4pm. Is my conversion time in this scenario calculated as 30 minutes (10 + 20) or 1 day (4pm tomorrow - 4pm today)?

Each accounting option is a clickable tile.When I view a customer session in inspect mode from full story. All the different accounting options are reflecting as same element. What best practices i can suggest to my dev team to overcome this one?What logic does Fullstory use to detect an element?

Support for Xcode 15 and iOS 17

Hey guys, Is the SDK supposed to work on Xcode 15 and iOS 17? How can I use OR conditional logic in Segment User Filters?

Hi,I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to search for users segments based on multiple OR conditions. I see that there is a way to have multiple OR event filters, but what i need is the ability to search for users based on two different user traits. So in my case, I want to see any users who have no email set or have a name that Starts with User or user. But from what I can tell Fullstory only allows me to use AND logic for separate criteria. (See screenshot below), So I can have multiple OR statements for “Name starts with”, but it will only allow AND email does not contain part “@”. So I can’t use a different criteria in the same segment without it searching for users who match both rather than just one. Is this correct? Is there a workaround? Thanks,Aaron

We’re kicking off a new landing page with a CRO agency and they asked if we could share a heatmap like Hotjar allows you to.  Outside of screenshots, is there a way to share the scroll map and click map data in a PDF from FullStory? Thanks!

Methods of blocking internal users other than IP address?

Hi FS community,Issue is that when I test certain key journeys, our testers are also doing the same, and I regularly find their videos when I’m looking at instances of users doing these journeys (the data therefore skewed). However, the testers IP address regularly changes, many times a day. Is there any way of blocking them otherwise? Can VPNs be blocked?

Defination for Session for Passive Apps.

Hi Team,My App is a kind of passive apps, it doesn’t have much buttons for user interaction, however it has webSocket connection which gives us frequent events and because of these events DOM Layout changes frequently. In this case will my session ends after 30 min ? as there might be the case that user hasn’t interacted with the app, but he/she is visually looking at all the Dom layout changes happening because of webSocket events.Please help us here.Thanks,Aman kamar

As a PM of B2B platform, is there a convenient way to get metrics, funnels, etc. at the account level (vs. user level)? I find that FS has a lot of capabilities that are related to the user activities but I didn’t find a good way to measure the account level

can I Unmask to Mask again

By default, we have an application where Masking is the default state, we have a form where we need to have 90% of the form unmasked aside from one part. I used the approach   unmask       maskapproach but does seem to work there is something wrong with it, am I forced to unmask every element that I need to display? and there is a reason for that  ?.Thanks for your help

Icons/svgs not showing up in replays

We have a React Native app that uses svg icons, and the icons themselves will not show up in our session replays. I don’t see any reason that they should be excluded from the replays, and I have “Capture local resources” turned on (though it doesn’t seem like that covers this case), is there an additional step I need to take?

Asset Uploading on iOS

Hello!I’m trying to integrate FullStory into an iOS app and will be using CocoaPods.I’ve followed the steps provided in Adding FullStory as a CocoaPods Pod and have added a new Script to the “Build Phases” to run the “FullStory Asset Uploader”.Is there a documentation page that is specific to the mobile context and that explains what this Script does in the context of an iOS App?From reading “Asset Uploading for WebViews” in Additional Topics, Asset Uploading for Web, and analyzing what the script logs into the build console, I assume that it uploads the assets from the project into FullStory servers, so that they can be used in Session replay. Is this correct?If it indeed uploads the assets to FullStory servers, do we need to run this script when running a debug build or is it enough to run the script when preparing a build for production release?The upload process seems to take some time. Is there anything we can do to speed it up?Thanks in advance!

Looking for session by dfullStoryId

Till a while ago I was able to search for a session according to the fullStoryId printed into our logs. I did it by manually changing the session URL with the id taken from this attribute.But, seems like recently the format was changed and I can’t find it anymore.Any way I can restore a session by using the fullstoryId?

Does FullStory support custom event tracking on native mobile apps?

Hi there,I’m searching through the docs to see if there’s an iOS/Android equivalent to the `FS.event` function that is provided on web via JavaScript, but can’t find anything. But there’s also nothing that states that custom event tracking is not possible on mobile. This article states that there are equivalents for `FS.identify` and `FS.setUserVars` but there’s no mention of the `FS.event` method, which adds to the confusion. If this is not possible on mobile, I’d love some input from the FS team on whether native mobile support for custom events is on the product roadmap and when it can be expected. Thanks!

How to QA custom events before sending them to the main project

Hi there,When implementing custom events for a specific product, is there a QA/Staging environment within FullStory that they can be sent to for QA before they are ready for being sent to the main project? In other product analytics tools like Mixpanel and Amplitude, you are encouraged to create a project specifically for event data QA. This prevents potentially bad data from getting mixed with production-ready data. Does FullStory offer something similar?

Is the video created a continuous recording or fragments that are later grouped?

I ask this because in a section of steps the initial page is being shown after each step for a moment in the video of the session and I want to understand if it is a fullstory bug or it is actually happening on the site. And that what is observed is unlikely to happen.

Hello!I’m Vinicius and I work for iBanFirst, an FX services provider.Our clients can do currency conversions in our platform. One of our hypothesis is that, when they’re in the conversions page, they change tabs to compare it with other FX providers (our competitors).We would like to calculate how many clients switch tabs and come back when they are in the conversion screen. Do you know if this is possible with the Tab feature?Thanks a lot!
